EHIME Prefecture and KOBEaccess
Actually...my friend lives in the suburbs of MATSUYAMA city.
I met him a few years ago on a travel in RUSSIA.
One of the main reasons that I decided to travel to Ehime was to meet him again.
I went to MATSUYAMA at the prefectural capital and BESSI Copper Mine at NIIHAMA in EHIME Prefecture.
We decided to meet at NIIHAMA station.。
We were able to meet after noon...He came in his car.
We had lunch at a SOBA restaurant that he recommended.
The name of the restaurant is HAGI-NO-CHYAYA(萩の茶屋).
ZARU SOBA is 780yen.
After that, we decided to go to the Old BESSI Copper Mine Ruins.
It is called "Oriental Machu Picchu".
It's quite deep in the mountains and passes through a loop bridge like this.
About an hour from the city central NIIHAMA,We arrived at "Oriental Machu Picchu"
The fog was deep and it was like "Oriental Machu Picchu"...!?
I have never been to Machu Picchu...hehehe...
After that,he suggested “There are hot spring facilities with better spring quality than DOGO ONSEN...Shall we go?”
By the way,the name of the facility is called "SAKURA NO YU".
after SAKURA NO YU, we left a car at a friend's apartment and we went to the Central MATSUYAMA at night.
At his recommendation, we went to a IZAKAYA restaurant called MATSUDA(まつだ).
We ate...
Seared bonito(カツオのたたき/KATUSO NO TATAKI)...
Red snapper(鯛/TAI) half with SASHIMI(fresh fish)
another half grilled with salt...
and Deep-fried Tofu(揚げ出し豆腐/AGEDASHI DOFU)...Of cause also some SAKE(酒)...Total 5,000円/per.

My friend lived along the IYOTETSU LINE, so I bought the IYOTETSU １DAY PASS.
Because I decided to use it for sightseeing in Matsuyama city until the flight time.
The １DAY PASS costs 1800 yen even though it is unlimited.
I thought it was a little expensive...I can ride the Airport Bus by this pass, and I bought it thinking "I can get enough money"...hehehe...
And I went to MITSUHAMA area with this pass.
The reason I visited this area is to eat rich local food called "Tamarishi".
So The meaning of TAI is Red snapper and MESHI is RICE...Like “Red snapper with Rice”.
I went to “TAIMESHI” specialty restaurant with reference to a Japanese guidebook.
The exterior of the restaurant is old-fashioned and has a good atmosphere.
he name of the restaurant is TAIMESHI SENMON TAI-YA.
Of course I ordered TAIMESSHI SET(2,200yen)

There was a free ferry near the restaurant and I use it.
You can also carry a bicycle.
By the way,I went back Central MATSUYAMA.
We can also ride the Ferris Wheel on the rooftop of a department store(IYOTETSU-TAKASHIMAYA) at Matsuyamashi Station with a １DAY PASS...So I ride the Ferris Whee.l
We can see MATSUYAMA CASTLE far from the Ferris Wheel.
Afte that,I used the TRAM.
I get off at the downtown(OKAIDO) that I visited last night.
I arrived at the Ropeway(lift) Platfor to the MATSUYAMA CASTLE.
Initially, I was thinking of walking to the castle tower without using the Ropeway(lift).
However, it was relatively cheap at 520yen(2way), so I decided to use the Ropeway(lift).
The entrance fee was also 520yen.
The view from MATSUYAMA CASTLE looks like this, and I could see the SETOUCHI SEA.
MATSUYAMA CASTLE is also one of the 12 oliginal castles.
I went to DOGO area next to MATSUYAMA CASTLE.
Of course my purpose is DOGO ONSEN(hot spring)↓

And I went to “DOGO ONSEN” in this time .
I thought "Surely, SAKURA NO YU may have better spring quality than Dogo Onsen".
It's convincing that my friend said, "My colleague who lives inCentral Matsuyama City doesn't go to Dogo Onsen, He purposely go to Sakura in the suburbs".
However, as a tourist I am attracted to famous appearance.
I was able to take a bus to the airport safely with my １DAY PASS and I went back home.
