I entered VIETNAM at the end of January 2004 through the HEKOU(CHINA)-LAO CAI (VIETNAM) border.At that time, Japanese natinality could enter the country without
a visa if we were staying for 2-weeks for sightseeing purposes.
So I spent two full weeks traveling from LAO CAI to VIETNAM, down to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and then to CAMBODIA.
